David Goggins is an American ultra-marathon runner, ultra-distance cyclist, triathlete, public speaker, and author. Born on February 17, 1975, in Buffalo, New York, he grew up in a poor black family where he faced racism, bullying, and abuse. Goggins struggled with obesity and a learning disability, which made him an easy target for bullies.
