IPL 2024: Who is Delhi Capitals player Abishek Porel?

During their IPL 2024 opener, the Delhi Capitals discovered a new hero in Abishek Porel. The 21-year-old scored 32 runs off of only 10 balls, including two sixes and four boundaries. With his attack in the last over, Abishek Porel left the seasoned Harshal Patel completely bewildered.

The Bengal star came in to bat in the 18th over as the Impact Player, taking Ricky Bhui’s spot. Abishek Porel was the primary factor that separated the Delhi Capitals from the opposition during a period when they were having trouble scoring a lot of points.

Cricket enthusiasts and social media were enthralled with the Bengal young player’s actions in the last over of the innings. Along with Ricky Ponting and Sourav Ganguly, Rishabh Pant, who made an emotional comeback to the game, was seen appreciating the display.
