Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been involved in a fierce rivalry since WrestleMania 40. The thing that makes their rivalry so intense is that the two don’t like each other in real life as well. The two faced each other at two PLEs—SummerSlam and Bash in Berlin. The two have one win each against each other and now they are looking to settle the score in a Hell in a Cell match at Bad Blood on October 5. Punk looks angry like never before. On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, CM Punk spoke his heart out and claimed that he would make McIntyre bleed and close the chapter of his life.
McIntyre responds to his rival’s speech
Although “The Scottish Warrior” was not at the arena to respond to Punk, he has released a video reacting to comments made by the Second City Saint. Drew first praised Punk for being his real self, which according to the Scottish Warrior was not the case earlier.
“I just watched what he said, the look in his eyes, that’s the man looking to go all the way. Tried to hurt me, but a man going on his back. It’s been 32 weeks and I have been doing heavy work. Obviously, you’ve got a nice little break, time-off to spend with your wife and stupid-looking dog,” said McIntyre.
Bad Blood will see the two clash for the third time
McIntyre stated that he was requested to stay home this week as top officials were concerned about what could happen if the two came face to face again. He also said he took time off because he wanted to spend some time with his cats and his wife. “The Scottish Warrior” further took a dig at CM Punk’s retirement statement, saying he knows exactly how many days the Chicago native has left in wrestling.

“I can tell you how many matches you have left…One. I can also make you a promise. One of us is not walking out of Hell in a Cell. Now I am going to enjoy my week off. Glad to see you show up at Phil,” he said. For now, the only thing that fans are waiting for is Bad Blood because Punk and McIntyre will clash for the third time and might finally close the chapter of their fierce rivalry.
