WWE superstar CM Punk is known for his outspoken nature. He is always straightforward when putting things out. Although Punk is always grateful to his WWE fans who have helped him make what he is today, the Chicago native has some advice for them today. CM Punk recently took to Instagram to express his annoyance with fans who sometimes cross the line while following him, often invading his privacy. According to Punk, this often happens at airports when he is traveling.Â
Punk has this advice for the fansÂ
In his Instagram story, Punk wrote, “Hey guys, Love you all, but a friendly reminder to respect privacy and boundaries. Airports are not a meet and greet. If I have to ask you to please stop following me multiple times, you have crossed a line. Please stop this. Thank you. And stop using your children as a shield or an excuse.”Â
Punk has addressed his displeasure with fans’ behavior at airports in the past. While it wasn’t direct, the Straight Edge Superstar expressed similar frustration during his infamous “pipebomb” promo in 2011, where he took a dig at John Cena, Triple H, The Rock, Vince McMahon and Hulk Hogan.Â
Punk doesn’t like people invading his privacyÂ
Punk had previously called WWE fans lazy, accusing them of being too lazy to get a real job because they only asked for his autograph at the airport. When fans were cheering him on during his outburst, Punk did not hesitate to express his disappointment in them and said, “Those of you cheering me on right now, you are the biggest reason I’m leaving, more than anything else.”Â
The frustrated Punk went on to say that these are the people who are sipping from collector cups and they buy programs that don’t even have his face on the cover. “And then, at 5:00 a.m. at the airport, you shove it in my face, hoping for an autograph, just so you can sell it on eBay because you are too lazy to get a real job,” said Punk.Â

CM Punk has never liked fans coming up to him at airports and invading his privacy. Whether fans listen to him or not, it is true that Punk is no less than a hero for many of them. However, at times, these fans cross their limits.Â
If we talk about Punk’s current WWE run, he is currently embroiled in a storyline with Drew McIntyre and is set to face him for the third time at Bad Blood in a Hell in a Cell match on October 5. The two have one-win each against each other, so it will be exciting to see who wins this time.Â
