1) Ominous trials
These are new additions that are coming with the Minecraft 1.21 update. Ominous trials are events that occur only in the new trial chamber structure. When players enter the structure, they will have to face trial spawners that summon dangerous, hostile mobs. However, if you enter the structure with a bad omen status effect, they will automatically commence the ominous trials in the game and then the ominous trials spawn much tougher hostile mobs.
2) Brown Mooshroom
This is one of the rarest events that players can ever experience while playing Minecraft. Mooshrooms are rare cows that appear in the rare mushroom fields biome. The biome itself is rare and hard to find while playing the game. Moreover, this biome only spawns red mooshroom cows. However, there is an unusual brown mooshroom that spawns brown mooshroom only if the red mooshroom is struck by lightning.
3) Zombie Siege
It is another rare event that occurs in Minecraft. Every night, a zombie siege might happen with a probability of 10%. It spawns a ton of zombies in a village. These hostile mobs attack the villagers and the players in the settlement. During the zombie siege, 20 zombies spawn twice at an interval of two ticks, making it a difficult challenge for the players.
4) Village raid
It is also a rare event, but most players might have experienced it while playing. After the village and pillage update was added to the game, it brought villagers and pillage mobs to the game. They live in different settlements in the overworld. When a player enters the village with a bad omen, a village raid is started. A bad-omen status effect is applied after killing a raid captain while they patrol the overworld.
5) Skeleton Trap
This is one of the most interesting and rare events to occur in Minecraft. It occurs only during the thunderstorms and if the player finds a skeleton horse in the wild. When a player approaches a skeleton during a thunderstorm, it will get struck by lightning and immediately spawn a few skeleton horsemen. These mobs are hostile and equipped with a helmet and a sword, riding a skeleton horse. You can skillfully kill the skeleton and protect the skeleton horse, as they are a unique animal in Minecraft.
