WWE Draft 2024 on Friday night, SmackDown saw Kiana James being drafted to RAW, after which Zoey Stark took to social media to send a special message to her. James was the second NXT star to be called up for the main roster, with the first one being Carmelo Hayes. The former NXT women’s tag team champion has played the heel character during the majority of her run in the NXT. Many WWE fans were surprised when her name was called out during draft picks, but it will be interesting to see how she performs on the main roster.
Stark’s words of appreciation for James
After Kiana James shared a photo of herself on X, expressing her gratefulness of being drafted to RAW, Zoey Stark retweeted it and praised Kiana. “Super Stark” wrote, “A damn hard worker and loves what she does. You deserve it.”
Trish Stratus about being paired with Stark
During the match between Trish Stratus and Becky Lynch at the Night of Champions last year in Saudi Arabia, Stark made a big appearance that cost “The Man” the match. She went on to form an alliance with Stratus as part of the Red Brand. During an interview, Trish Stratus revealed that Triple H came to her with the idea of Stark being her protege. Trish said that she loved the idea and was excited at the prospect of her and Stark calling back to the rivalry Triple H had with Batista back in the past.

“That was an idea they came to me with, Hunter came to me with it and I loved it. I said it could be shades of Batista and Triple H back in the day ? and we felt like, Let’s pin that to the board because it was a good idea,” she said. The two women split up when Zoey Stark attacked Trish at the Payback Premium Live Event last year. Stark is currently involved in a team with Shayna Baszler.
