Yashasvi Jaiswal Biography: Yashasvi Bhupendra Jaiswal, an Indian cricket player who represents the country, was born on December 28, 2001. In July 2023, he made his debut for his country against the West Indies in the opening Test match, where he scored a century in his opening innings. He is a member of the Indian Premier League (IPL) teams Rajasthan Royals and Mumbai. Early life
On December 28, 2001, in Suriyawan, Bhadohi, Uttar Pradesh, Jaiswal was born as the fourth of six children to Bhupendra Jaiswal, a hardware store owner, and Kanchan Jaiswal, a homemaker. He relocated to Mumbai when he was ten years old to train at Azad Maidan for cricket. He was first allowed to live in a dairy shop in exchange for his labor, but the owner had him removed because he could not come in regularly. Consequently, he made ends meet by selling panipuri while living in a tent at the Maidan with the groundskeepers.
Three years of living in tents later, Jaiswal’s talent for cricket was discovered in December 2013 by Santacruz-based cricket coach Jwala Singh. Before assuming the role of legal guardian and getting Jaiswal’s power of attorney, he gave him a place to stay.

Youth career
Jaiswal first gained notoriety in 2015 when he set a record for Indian school cricket by scoring 319 runs without conceding an end and taking 13/99 in a Giles Shield match. He was picked for the Mumbai under-16 team and, subsequently, the Indian cricket team’s under-19 squad. In the 2018 Under-19 Asia Cup, which India won, Jaiswal was the top run scorer (318 runs) and player of the competition.
Against the South Africa under-19 team in a Youth Test match in 2019, Jaiswal struck 173 from 220 balls. Later the same year, he participated in the England under-19 tri-series and amassed 294 runs in seven matches, including four half-centuries. He was added to India’s 2020 Under-19 Cricket World Cup squad in December 2019. On January 7, 2019, Jaiswal made his Mumbai team’s first-class debut in the 2018–19 Ranji Trophy. On September 28, 2019, he made his List A debut in the 2019–20 Vijay Hazare Trophy. In a Vijay Hazare Trophy encounter against Jharkhand on October 16, 2019, he hit 203 runs off of 154 balls, making history as the youngest double centurion in List A cricket history at the age of 17 years, 292 days. International career

After Virat Kohli and Vinod Kambli, Jaiswal became the third Indian batsman to record a double century in back-to-back Test matches, with his second century in the series next game.
In addition, he tied the record for the most sixes in a test inning with 12 hits throughout the inning.
The first player to ever hit 20 sixes in a series in Test history is Jaiswal. At the age of 22, he became the second Indian after Sunil Gavaskar to reach 500 runs in a Test series.
