WWE superstar Bobby Lashley is one of the most amazing wrestlers in the industry. Apart from being a wrestler, he is also a professional MMA fighter and has had an impressive stint in Bellator. Lashley has recently revealed who according to him, is the toughest superstar he has worked with. While many people must be thinking that Lashley will name Brock Lesnar as he is a former UFC fighter and arguably one of the toughest. However, Sheamus is the one who Lashley finds the toughest.
Lashley praised Sheamus’ abilities
Recently in The Laboratory with Plays podcast, Bobby recalled a match he wrestled Sheamus and stated that “The Celtic Warrior” made it extremely tough for him to match his standards. “The Dominator” praised Sheamus’ grit and determination, revealing that it was the two-time WWE champion who first took initiative during the match and then Lashley tried to match him.
Bobby said, “When we started that match, Sheamus came in hard. He clubbed me so hard and I was like, ‘Oh, I’m in a fight.’ We are really fighting. He likes it. Sheamus is a different character. What he gives, he takes.”
Bobby didn’t reveal which match it was, but he probably was hinting at the match that took place on March 22, 2021, when Lashley was the WWE champion and he took on Sheamus at Monday Night Raw. Although Lashley won the match, he still remembers the Irishman being the toughest wrestler he has ever fought.
Lashley called Lesnar ‘Heartless’
The 48-year-old also faced Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewel in 2022, where he defeated The Conqueror to win the WWE Championship, but he still didn’t claim Brock as the toughest wrestler he has worked with. In fact, he called Brock Lesnar heartless. While speaking on WWE’s The Bump, Lashley stated that Lesnar is one of those heartless superstars who will break his opponent’s neck and walk out with his security guards and Paul Heyman without a care.
