WWE Superstar Asuka recently shared pictures of her knee surgery, after which her social media was filled with wishes for her speedy recovery. Asuka got injured in one of the episodes of SmackDown in March. Since then, she has been out of action and will be out for some time to recover. She posted a few photos, one of them is a picture of a knee brace, while in the other she is resting in a hospital bed.
Asuka opened up about injury on her YouTube channel
Last month, Asuka opened up about her injury status on her YouTube channel shortly after completing a European tour for WWE. “The Empress of Tomorrow” confirmed that she needed some time off to deal with a knee problem and said her fellow team members of DAMAGE CTRL have been very supportive. “My partners Kairi and Dakota helped me a lot during the European tour as I could not move at my best. I am very grateful to both of them,” said Asuka.
WWE did not reveal the timeline of her comeback
There was confusion surrounding the Queen of the Ring Tournament over how serious her injury was. Asuka was announced from the start, but was then pulled out and replaced by Dakota Rai. However, she was healthy enough to wrestle alongside Kairi Sane at Backlash in Lyon, France, where the Kabuki Warriors defended their Women’s Tag Team Championship against Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair, eventually losing the titles at the event.

WWE has not given any updates on how long Asuka might be out of action and she herself has not mentioned the estimated time for her recovery. Photos shared by her suggest she could be out for a long time, leaving Kai, Sane and Iyo Sky to keep Damage CTRL on top. However, that might not be easy, as there is already a rift between the group members. WWE fans are hoping to see the “Ramen Woman” back in action to reunite the Kabuki Warriors.
