WWE fans who have been eagerly awaiting for in-ring debut of Giulia will have to be more patient as it has been revealed that she recently suffered an injury that will keep her out of action. The 30-year-old was confirmed as an official WWE NXT Superstar at WWE NXT’s Stand & Deliver event. She suffered an injury last week on the inaugural card of Rossy Ogawa’s brand new Marigold promotion. The Japanese wrestler was teaming with Utami Hayashishita when she suffered a fractured arm, which will now take her out of the ring while she begins to recover from the injury.
Marigold promotion made an apology statement
Marigold made an official statement about the situation, saying, “Giulia’s right wrist was injured in yesterday’s opening match. Today her doctor examined her and diagnosed her with a fracture. Unfortunately, she will miss the Hana Kimura show on the 23rd and upcoming shows for the time being. We apologize and thank you for understanding.”
Potential time for her debut
There is currently no timeline for how long she will be out of action, but it is expected to be at least two months and possibly longer depending on the severity of the injury. Giulia is still scheduled to face Sareee at Marigold’s Summer Destiny event on July 13, but it is unclear whether that will happen. Her injury has definitely become a hindrance for the new Marigold promotion, as she was one of Ogawa’s biggest names and an obvious attraction for the company. With such a new promotion, her star power would have been beneficial in these shows, which is why initially she decided to stay in Japan in order to help with the beginning.

If we talk about her debut in WWE, it’s unclear how much this injury will have changed the plans. There is no specific date as to when she will make her in-ring debut for the company, but it was rumored that WWE NXT’s Heatwave event would take place on July 7 this year. Whether Giulia will be healthy enough to take part in the show remains to be seen, and if not then injury could delay her debut. However, she is still under contract with the company.
