The WWE Universe has been experiencing waves of excitement since The Rock called out undisputed Universal champion Roman Reigns last week on Raw. He asked the audience if he should be the head of the table. The situation has divided the Anoa’i family, with some favoring the current Tribal Chief and others rooting for “The Great One” to come out on top. Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa are on Reigns side, while Jey could potentially support the Hollywood megastar. Their father, Rikishi, also appears to have chosen a side between the two cousins.
Rikishi still remembers the 2000 storyline
“The Samoan Stinker” is strongly associated with Roman Reigns. Rikishi tweeted a video of The Rock asking him to stay out of his life. A blood emoji was being put in the caption. This was a storyline from 2000, but apparently, the WWE Hall of Famer hasn’t forgotten about it.
This was probably Rikishi subtly expressing his feelings about who he wants to see come out on top between Roman Reigns and The Rock. This makes sense since two of his sons, Jimmy and Solo, are part of Reigns’ bloodline stable.
The Tribal Chief & The Rock might face at WrestleMania
If the company plans to carry this storyline, the match between Roman Reigns and The Rock can only happen at WrestleMania. After all, this is the biggest matchup WWE can book at the event. However, this year’s showdown seems to be dedicated to Cody Rhodes finishing “The Tribal Chief.”
If Cody plans to win the undisputed WWE Universal Title from The Tribal Chief, the two cousins could face off against each other at the WWE Elimination Chamber.

WWE’s premium live event, Elimination Chamber, is set to take place at Optus Stadium in Perth, Australia, in February 2024. Therefore, it would make sense for The Rock to have his match in front of that huge crowd before Rhodes and Reigns move on to WWE’s WrestleMania 40 on April 6, 2024.
