WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus has sparked a speculation among wrestling fans ahead of the Money in the Bank event that is scheduled to be held on July 7 in Toronto. Stratus is a renowned wrestling superstar who had an illustrious career in WWE. She recently posted a teaser clip on social media, hinting at a possible appearance at the upcoming show.
Trish is already scheduled to take part in the weekend’s festivities in another capacity. The video shared by Stratus shows her walking the streets of Toronto, leaving many wondering if she is making her way to the Scotiabank Arena for Money in the Bank.
Stratus was last seen at Payback 2023
Trish Stratus was last seen on WWE programming in 2023 at Payback, where she faced Becky Lynch in a fierce steel cage match. Despite a great effort, the Hall of Famer was defeated. After the match, her disciple, Zoey Stark, attacked Stratus and delivered a brutal Z-360. Since then, Stratus has been missing from WWE television, leaving fans curious about her next move. She has already said that she has one more WWE run left in her and wants to return.
The upcoming Money in the Bank in Toronto is a perfect opportunity for Stratus to make a stunning return. With Zoey Stark participating in this year’s Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match alongside IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria, Naomi, Tiffany Stratton and Chelsea Green, it seems possible that Stratus could get herself into the storyline. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Stratus hinder Stark’s victory.
She is already scheduled for an Appearance
Stratus is scheduled to join the in-venue hospitality ahead of the WWE Money in the Bank event. The appearance is part of her ongoing Bad Girl Tour. In addition, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest will join Stratus, making the pre-show event even more star-studded. Stratus has not been officially teased by WWE for the event. It remains to be seen whether she finds herself included in the women’s Money in the Bank or not. If the company is keeping it a surprise, it will surely add an exciting element to the event.
