Last week on Friday Night SmackDown, Roman Reigns once again called himself the Tribal Chief of WWE. He said that this is his WWE, and he is the Tribal Chief. However, former WWE World Heavyweight Champion Mark Henry doesn’t agree with Reigns’ claim. While speaking on the Busted Open Radio podcast, Henry stated that Roman Reigns is not the Tribal Chief and WWE fans have moved on from his previous image after his WrestleMania 40 loss against Cody Rhodes.
“I don’t know if Roman has paid enough attention. Maybe his judgment is clouded because he’s worried about the Ula Fala and the rest of the family, The Bloodline, but I think he kinda poo poo’d on the fact that Cody beat him,” said Henry.
According to Henry Cody is the Tribal Chief
“The World’s Strongest Man” further stated that he didn’t care about Reigns’ promo in which the Big Dog called himself WWE’s Tribal Chief. “Even though he considers himself the Tribal Chief of his family, when you are not the champion, you are not WWE’s Tribal Chief,” said Henry.
Mark Henry instead said that current WWE Champion Cody Rhodes is WWE’s commander-in-chief because he is the one holding the belt. Reigns has teamed up with “The American Nightmare” to face Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu in a tag team match at Bad Blood on October 5, 2024.

Cody Rhodes and Reigns are allied to face the Bloodline
Although Reigns hasn’t spoken about the WWE Championship yet, he has dropped hints. When Roman Reigns returned at SummerSlam in August and attacked Solo Sikoa while walking back up the ramp, “The Big Dog” was seen telling Cody that the WWE title was his. On the other hand, Rhodes has also shown no interest in facing the Bloodline. However, he did side with Roman eventually. First he told the SmackDown General Manager that the Bloodline is not his problem, but at the end of the show, he allied with Reigns as the former WWE champion held “The American Nightmare” against the Bloodline two times.
