WWE always makes sure that their latest games stop getting developed and are forgotten about by the fans within a month. In recent years, the company has started giving players DLC in games. WWE 2K24’s DLC will be expanded more and the announced packs will be dropped by the end of this year. So far, only one has arrived. The second of 2K24’s announced DLC features pop star Post Malone and some other WWE legends demastered by 2K.
Malone is a playable character in the game now
Post Malone will be a playable character in WWE 2K24 starting today if you have access to the Post Malone & Friends DLC. Malone has been given a low rating of just 69 since he has never wrestled a single match. But it is still higher than players an expect who is not a professional wrestler. Wrestling superstars like Akira Tozawa, MVP and Candice LeRae have a lower rating than Malone despite their extensive wrestling experiences.
Apart from Malone, Sensational Sherri, Honky Tonk Man, The Headbangers and Jimmy Hart have joined WWE 2K24 today. They are all coming back to WWE games after varying lengths of time, but the Headbangers have been missing for the longest time. This is the first time Mosh and Thrasher will be playable in a WWE video game this century.
Demastered series has been announced as well
2K has also announced the Demastered series, which will allow players to unlock Persona cards in MyFaction. This will in turn provide them with versions of superstars based on their models in previous WWE 2K installments, which you can use in all of 2K24’s game modes. The confirmed WWE superstars for the Demastered Series are Roman Reigns, Xavier Woods and Biaca Belair. More superstars will be added in the future.
For players who won the Deluxe edition of WWE 2K24 or have purchased the season pass, the Post Malone & Friends pack should be downloaded automatically. If you don’t have the pack, it can be purchased separately from your respective platform’s store.
