The Boston Celtics are having an incredible NBA season and the two players who have been important in their run are Kristaps Porzingis and Jaylen Brown. Both have played a big role in the 20-5 record of the team that is placed first. They are tied for the lowest number of losses in the league, along with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
The Celtics will now take on the Golden State Warriors on December 19. According to the updated injury report, the Celtics have listed Porzingis as questionable for the match, while Jaylen is good to go. The only other player on the Injury list is Luke Kornet, who is expected to stay out for a week due to a thigh injury.
Porzingis is likely to play the next game

Porzingis suffered a calf injury on November 26 in a game against the Orlando Magic. He left the game in the third quarter after experiencing tightness in his calf. Since then, he has missed four consecutive games before making his comeback against the New York Knicks on December 8.
As for Brown, he was dealing with an ankle injury and was listed as questionable for a few games. However, he has recently been active for the Celtics. With Porzingis likely to play in the next game, the Celtics will be a more defensive unit against the Warriors.
Porzingis and Brown’s averages this season

Kristaps Porzingis has averaged 18.9 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 2.5 assists in 13 games against the Warriors. This season, he is averaging 18.9 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.6 assists. Over the last five games, the Latvian player has been averaging 16.8 points, 6.6 rebounds and 1.2 assists.
Brown has been giving similar performances, averaging 8.1 points, 6.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 13 games against the Warriors. He is averaging 22.3 points, 4.7 rebounds and 3.5 assists this season. Over the last five games, he has averaged 22.6 points, 3.0 rebounds and 4.6 assists.
