WrestleMania 40 is just a few months away and fans are eagerly awaiting the return of John Cena. His last appearance in WWE saw a devastating defeat at the hands of Solo Sikoa at Crown Jewel 2023. However, like every year, the road to the biggest and grandest event saw several surprises and comebacks, raising the possibility of another John Cena run in the company and potentially attending WrestleMania 40.
So, if “The Cenation Leader” wrestles at the biggest event of the year, he might face Logan Paul in a singles match. A possible scenario could see John Cena return to SmackDown on the road to WrestleMania. However, he could engage in a segment with Paul, ultimately resulting in a confrontation between the two at the grand event.
Cena vs Paul was rumored last year as well
It is worth noting that this is not the first time that there has been speculation about a match between Logan Paul and Cena. Even last year, it was believed that the Hollywood star would be involved in the match against “The Maverick”, but that did not happen. Instead, Cena wrestled Austin Theory in a United States Championship match, and Logan wrestled Seth Rollins in a singles match.

Currently, Logan Paul is the United States Champion on SmackDown, which also calls for a possible plan to once again compete in a US title match at the Shows of the Shows. It will be interesting to see what happens at WrestleMania this year and whether fans will finally see an unexpected showdown between Cena and Paul. A few days back Cena also revealed that he is planning to retire before the age of 50, but he will definitely give something remarkable to the WWE universe before retirement.
