The Lakers will look to bounce back on Wednesday after a close 114-109 loss to the New York Knicks last Monday. Anthony Davis made a great return after a one-game absence, posting 32 points, 14 rebounds and two blocks. But will he be playing in the game against the Chicago Bulls? That is still a question. According to the Lakers’ latest injury report, Davis is listed as questionable with a left ankle sprain. It is also described as a bone bruise. He will likely compete against the Bulls.
Five more players are on Lakers’ injury report

David isn’t the only player on the Lakers’ injury report because five others are included as well. The good news for the team is that only one player, Jalen Hood-Schifino, is listed out. LeBron James is also questionable, Rui Hachimura is available, Gabe Vincent and Jared Vanderbilt have been tagged as probable.

Davis has been relatively healthy for most of the early part of the season. He has been dealing with spasms since November, but based on the latest injury report, it looks like he has recovered from them.
Davis got a left ankle sprain

Last week, “The Brow” got a left ankle sprain and a bone bruise in the game against the San Antonio Spurs. He sprained his ankle on the first play of that game, but battled through it. He sat out for the next game before returning last Monday to face the New York Knicks. His ankle injury must have been aggravated during the Monday night game, but he played despite cramps, so he will try to play even with a sprained ankle.
The Windy city is Anthony’s hometown

The LA Lakers will begin their three-game trip to Chicago on Wednesday, where they will face the Chicago Bulls. It is Davis’ hometown, he was born and raised in Chicago. He has only played against his hometown 15 times during his NBA career. Davis averaged 25.5 points, 9.9 rebounds, 2.9 assists, 1.2 steals and 2.5 blocks per game.
