India’s star middle-order batter, SKY helped to stabilize India’s innings through his firing knock. When the stars of the fourth T20I, Jaiswal & Shubman failed to repeat their heroics, SKY stood up on the occasion & played a stellar knock of 61 runs in 45 balls to bring India back on the track. It was on the back of Suryakumar’s glemaing knock that India posted a decent 165 runs total on board.

West Indies pacer Romario Shepherd was the best bowler for West Indies as he rattled India’s batting order by scalping 4 wickets for just 31 runs. It was Shepherd’s brilliant spell that helped West Indies in restricting India to an average total.
Pooran-King’s 132-run stand did the magic for West Indies
The win was largely dominated by Pooran-King who scored 132 runs in the top order to easily guide West Indies over the line in 18 overs. Pooran scored 47 runs whereas King played a blistering 85-run knock to win the fixture for West Indies. Shai Hope (22) & Mayers (10) played crucial cameos to make victory possible for West Indies.

He scalped crucial wickets of Hardik, Samson, Arshdeep & Kuldeep to dismantle the depth of India’s batting order. He received valuable support from Akeal Hossein who scalped 2 wickets conceding 24 runs. However, due to Shepherd’s match-winning figures, he received the ‘Player of the Match Award.’
