India is a country with a massive population, and thus absolutely brimming with talent. To harness this talent, there are a number of academies and coaching centres where children of all ages can go to develop their game and enhance their skills. The pathway from playing in the ‘gully’ to representing your school, local club, district, state, and one day, the country, is clear and well-trodden, giving aspiring cricketers a pathway to follow. This gives young cricketers something to aspire towards at every stage of their cricketing career while encouraging youngsters to take up the game.
