AJ Styles is undoubtedly one of the best wrestlers in modern wrestling. Every wrestling fan would admit that “The Phenomenal” is one of the top superstars of today’s generation. His wrestling skills are unmatched and the stunts he can perform, as well as the moves he does, are challenging for any other wrestler to replicate. However, it’s been a while since AJ has been away from WWE. He was last seen at WWE Clash at the Castle in an ‘I quit’ match against WWE Champion Cody Rhodes. Although Styles lost, the match was an entertaining one.
Why hasn’t AJ Styles been around?
Fans have been wondering now, Where is AJ Styles? Some are thinking that he is injured. But there is nothing like that. According to Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select, AJ Styles is fit and healthy. The Phenomenal One has not been appearing in WWE because he has not been used in any storyline. He can return anytime to work with the top stars. Also, there are no reports of Styles being cold to WWE creatives or deciding to leave. The former WWE Champion has been in the company since 2016 and has won the title twice since then.
The Phenomenal One has immense popularity
Styles’ popularity among the WWE fans has been witnessed several times. At Backlash in France, the whole LDLC Arena echoed with chants for AJ Styles. That was enough to tell what impact Styles has in WWE. The 47-year-old began his wrestling career in 1998. He wrestled in different promotions and has also been the cornerstone of TNA wrestling since its inception. He appeared in WWE for the first time in 2002 but refused to sign a developmental contract. Apart from winning the WWE championship twice, AJ Styles has also won the United States Championship twice, the Intercontinental Championship once and the WWE Tag Team title once.
