Karun Nair’s maiden triple century came in the 2014 Ranji Trophy. Following a series of poor performances, he ended up hammering 328 runs in the championship match to help Karnataka win the trophy once more. Nair recorded two centuries and two half-centuries in the ensuing Ranji Trophy.
Karun Nair created history. He debuted in international cricket for Team India in the Mohali Test match between England and India. Nair, who was 303 not out in the innings, set a new milestone and became the second cricketer from India to reach a triple century in a single inning.

He soon moved to Kolkata Knight Riders before being acquired by Rajasthan Royals at the IPL auction for 2022.
Following KL Rahul’s injury in IPL 2023, Karun Nair was later chosen as a substitute. There he was a member of the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) team.
