For quite some time, there has been a lot of speculation about the debut of some wrestling superstars in WWE, especially for the Bloodline faction. Paul Heyman earlier stated that some superstars could debut in the Bloodline storyline. Jey Uso also said the same recently. Therefore, it is rumored that Roman Reigns’ cousin, Zilla Fatu, may come to WWE. These speculations were strengthened when Fatu’s wrestling promotion, GameChanger Wrestling, announced on social media that he would no longer appear on any shows.
Zilla is the son of WWE legend
“Zilla Fatu will not be appearing on tonight’s GCW event in Philadelphia or any GCW shows in the near future. We tried our best to avoid this situation, but we have reached an impasse,” wrote GCW on X. Once Zilla Fatu debuts in the Stamford-based promotion, he will not be an ordinary superstar, as he is the son of WWE legend Umaga. Zilla’s father had an illustrious career in WWE from 2006-2009 when he wrestled as the Samoan beast, Umaga. However, he passed away in 2009 due to a sudden cardiac arrest. Zilla Fatu’s WWE debut will add a lot to his father’s legacy in wrestling.
Whose faction will Zilla Fatu join?
The question that many people have in their minds right now is: when is Zilla Fatu expected to make his WWE debut? He can be seen at the upcoming PLE Bad Blood on October 5, where Solo Sikoa and Jacob Fatu will take on Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. However, it is unclear which faction Zilla Fatu will join: Roman Reigns’ OG Bloodline or Sikoa’s Bloodline. Since another potential Anoa’i wrestler, Hikuleo, is expected to join Solo Sikoa’s faction, it seems likely that Zilla will join Roman Reigns.
