The Indian cricket squad, captained by Rohit Sharma, and the New Zealand cricket team were the only unbeaten teams going into Sunday’s Cricket World Cup 2023. Thus, after the first several rounds of matches at the Cricket World Cup 2023, their meeting at the HPCA Stadium in Dharamsala served as something of a decider as to whose team was the greatest. The fact that the Indian cricket team had not defeated New Zealand in a Cricket World Cup match since 2003 added spice to the encounter. The record was altered when India defeated New Zealand by four wickets. Watch Virat Kohli-Rohit Sharma’s bromance.

At the Cricket World Cup, India maintained their all-win record thanks to a strong chase led by 95-year-old Virat Kohli against a potent New Zealand bowling attack. Following India’s victory, the ICC posted a video of Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli’s bromance on Instagram, capturing the attention of many.
The two are seen driving away from a location in the same automobile in another footage that has become popular on social media. But it’s unclear when the video was captured.

Batsman Daryl Mitchell of New Zealand believes that Indian sensation Virat Kohli’s incredible 95-run innings made the difference between the two teams in this World Cup encounter.
Mitchell helped New Zealand reach 273 on Sunday with a brilliant century stand for the third wicket with Rachin Ravindra, smashing 130 off 127 balls.
Mitchell’s blow, however, was insufficient because Kohli led the charge and led India home in 48 overs. He said, “He is a top-tier talent who will be remembered as one of the game’s greats for a specific reason.”
After the four-wicket loss on Sunday, Mitchell remarked, “A very good knock under pressure I thought and although he didn’t get 100, he got his team across the line.”
Mitchell remarked that the conditions improved for batting under lights and he praised New Zealand’s bowling effort. “We, the Kiwis, will simply not stop punching, attempting new things, and attempting to take wickets. I’m just really proud of our bowling unit tonight and how they tried to do that for periods and in conditions which probably got better with the dew with the wicket.”
According to the right-handed batter, the Kiwis fell 20–30 runs shy of a possible winning total. “You always want more runs, but I also felt that our approach and the platform we established were very Black Caps-like. So, for us, we’ll just keep chipping in and we’ll work on a few things, and we’ll be good to go next time,” Mitchell stated.
Early in Mitchell’s innings, the Kiwi batsman showed aggression against Kuldeep Yadav, claiming that he intended to exert pressure on the highly effective wrist spinner from India.
“I’ve known Kuldeep for a while now; he’s a great man, and we get on well off the field, and yeah, for me, it’s just keep trying to find ways to put pressure on their bowlers; it’s not just him; it’s the same with every bowler that we come up against. The goal is to discover methods to exert pressure on them. It’s great to see him succeed because he’s performed incredibly well for India over the past several years,” he stated.
