The 16th Asia Cup is quickly approaching, and all of the teams have gotten ready for their separate matches in the competition. India’s campaign will start on September 2 in a highly awaited match against Pakistan at Kandy, Sri Lanka, in the tournament that will begin on August 30 with a game between Pakistan and Nepal. On Sunday, August 27, Indian cricket players could be seen working out at a practice camp in preparation for their match against their arch-rivals. A training and practice camp was taking place in Alur, Bengaluru when former India captain Virat Kohli was seen batting in the nets with the talented all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja. In preparation for the Asia Cup 2023, the Indian cricket squad is working hard in the training camp in Alur, Karnataka. Over the last four days, batters were paired together to simulate a match. Virat Kohli and Shreyas Iyer were put in front of Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. In a video that has gone viral on social media, Kohli was this time batting with Ravindra Jadeja as they both dealt with spin bowling. Most likely, it was a simulation of a match situation, and both players were trying to make smart strokes.
Following his selection for the Asia Cup 2023, KL Rahul’s fitness was questioned by many. Head selector Ajit Agarkar informed the media that he had a little ache.

After a protracted struggle with injuries, the batter’s call-up for the continental competition was significant. But the news, combined with the addition of Sanju Samson as a backup, did not allay the concerns. Rahul did some practice wicket-keeping while being assisted by captain Rohit Sharma at the ongoing training camp in Alur, Karnataka. Hence, there was some good news for cricket fans.
In a previous match simulation, he also participated in some batting practice while partnered with Suryakumar Yadav at Nos. 5 and 6, respectively. In practice, India used predetermined partnerships. First with Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill. Then Virat Kohli and the resurrected Shreyas Iyer at No. 4.
