On April 23, Anushka Sharma was caught making fun of Kohli’s golden duck. The RCB player then delivered a strong comeback. Both on and off the pitch, Virat Kohli continues to command the attention of Indian supporters. Whether he is engaged in a cricket match or spending time with his wife, the actress Anushka Sharma, Kohli is often the topic of conversation.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore batter and his wife are currently trending on social media platforms as a result of their recent viral video from a promotional event that has piqued people’s interest. Kohli just became the first Indian to have 250 million followers on Instagram.
The pair appeared on Puma’s “Let there be sports” campaign last month and engaged in some games and fan interaction. Recently, the films documenting their time at the event have gone viral on social media, with admirers fervently resharing them. In one of these videos, Anushka can be seen mocking Virat’s on-field celebrations in an amusing manner, making the audience chuckle. She continues to make fun of Virat by claiming that sometimes he rejoices more than the bowler after a wicket is lost.

On April 23, 2023, during the IPL match between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) in Bangalore, the actress is also seen making fun of Virat for his golden duck. In the video, Anushka can be heard saying, “At least score runs today, Kohli. Aaj 24th April hai.” After a fit of laughter, Kohli responded to Anushka in just the right way to enliven the audience.
Kohli has been shockingly eliminated on a golden duck in his last three games for RCB. In 2017, Kohli was removed for a duck by Marco Jansen of the Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), while in 2018, he was dismissed for a duck by Nathan Coulter-Nile of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). Kohli has been in outstanding form in T20 cricket over the past few months, despite a few setbacks in the IPL this season. He scored 639 runs in 14 innings during the current IPL at a strike rate of 140 and an average of 53.
Despite Kohli’s outstanding performance this year, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were unable to get to the postseason. They ended sixth on the points table with fourteen points, having won seven and lost seven of their fourteen games. The ICC World Test Championship (WTC) final between India and Australia will take place at the Oval in London on June 7, and Virat Kohli has now arrived there to get ready.
