The cricketer said, “You need bowling depth as well as batting depth. We need to build that depth, which has been absent in our team for the last few years. When it comes to batting depth, the No.9 and No.8 spots are critical. We saw in the first game here that we fell short in the backend. We encourage latecomers to contribute as well. Another 10-15 runs would have made a difference in the game. This is the difference between winning and losing. “We’ve talked to them about that World Cup role.”
