Before that on February 10th was Dortmund’s most complete performance, a 3-0 home thrashing of Freiburg powered by a Malen brace and late Füllkrug strike. On February 3rd though, Dortmund was held to a 0-0 away draw by Heidenheim, failing to translate their control into goals. Dortmund’s best recent outing was a 3-1 home win over Bochum on January 28th led by a Füllkrug brace. So while Dortmund’s brilliant attack continues humming, tightened defensive organization is vital towards resuming dominant form across 90 minutes.
