WWE has been teasing the return of Uncle Howdy for months with creepy videos and QR codes that would appear on Raw, SmackDown and Premium Live Events as well. Uncle Howdy hadn’t been seen since his days with Bray Wyatt in early 2023, but the latest hints promised carnage leading up to June 17th. This Monday night Raw, was indeed the day when there were just a few minutes left to go on for the episode, and the lights of the arena went out. From the darkness appeared Uncle Howdy, accompanied by his four new masked friends.
The much-awaited faction debut is finally here
Last Monday night, Raw was filled with many surprising moments. It started with the unannounced appearance of Seth Rollins, who ended up booking a World Heavyweight Championship match with Damian Priest at Money in the Bank. Drew McIntyre, distressed after losing his title match at Clash at the Castle due to interference from CM Punk, led to him quitting WWE. However, throughout the night, the episode was interrupted by mysterious symbols that hinted at the arrival of Uncle Howdy. At the end of the night, fans finally got to see Uncle Howdy and his faction.
The Promised blood bath was shown
As the arena went dark, piano notes once accompanied Bray Wyatt began to play and a masked woman crawled through the smoke towards the lantern. She then pointed the cameras backstage, where more masked people appeared, who are reported to be Erick Rowan, Dexter Lumis and Joe Gacy. Along the way, the massacre was shown as several people lay unconscious, including Braun Strowman and Chad Gable. The camera then turned to Uncle Howdy, which excited the fans in the arena. Howdy, along with the other masked people, went towards the stage and picked up Wyatt’s lantern. He said, “Were here” before the show cut.

Now that the Uncle Howdy faction has arrived, WWE needs to portray them. With Bray Wyatt’s real brother Bo Dallas under the mask, both he and WWE want to make sure they honor Bray in a way that makes him proud. A report suggests that Howdy’s faction will not be as supernatural as Wyatt’s, but if Raw is a clue for what’s next, fans have to be ready for the group that will ruin everyone in their path.
