UFC Light Heavyweight champion Alex Pereira has been accused of rape by a 21-year-old girl. Recently, TikTok user Mere_G_Brown uploaded three separate videos of 19 minutes each. In the videos, the girl detailed the entire incident that allegedly took place on July 2 at the day of UFC 302. She started the video by saying that one of her friends was an MMA enthusiast and followed the Brazilian fighter’s translator. His translator then followed her back and asked to join Pereira’s training with another friend of hers.
The Girl accused Pereira of Sexually abusing her
Continuing with the clips, the TikTok user said that they went to a private gym called Crews MMA, where Alex met them after sparring. However, she then accused Pereira and his translator of plying her 20-year-old friend with alcohol. Soon after, the user said that they were taken to a hotel named Courtyard Marriott on the night of UFC 302, where they waited for Pereira until midnight (2-3 am). The 21-year-old then accused Pereira of asking her to come to bed with him and detailed how he forced and sexually assaulted her. The videos posted by the user have become highly viral, but there is no solid evidence to validate the allegations made by the girl.
Pereira is yet to address the allegations
Now the MMA world is divided and is questioning the credibility of these allegations. Till now, neither “Poatan” nor his translator have responded to the allegations. Alex Pereira, who is currently trying to make his transition from the UFC’s light heavyweight to the heavyweight division, has been given a condition by Dana White. In a recent interview with Kevin Lole, Dana White was asked about the idea of “Poatan” moving up to the heavyweight division. White said that Pereira has to fight all the contenders in his division first and then a mega fight between him and Jon Jones can be made official.

Alex Pereira has already defeated fighters like Jamahal Hill and Jiri Prochazka. With Jan Blachowicz and Magomed Ankalaev expected to get title shots, the Brazilian fighter will have to prepare and work hard. Now with the new controversy and big allegations, Pereira could be in serious trouble if the girl proves her allegations. Until then, the UFC champion will focus on his MMA career. Pereira is an impressive fighter and has amassed a record of 11 wins and 2 losses. Currently he is having an amazing title reign in the UFC.
