Recently, some clips have surfaced online that show Boxing veteran Tyson Fury being escorted out of a bar in Morecambe. The incident took place at the Nowhere Bar, where the British boxer was seen falling to his knees in the street after reportedly having too many drinks. According to a report, Tyson was out there partying with his friends and fans at the venue. Security staff had to ask the boxer to leave after discovering he was too drunk.
Fans reacted to this on social media
Fans had mixed reactions on social media, with one of the users commenting, “Tyson Fury is not taking his first-ever loss well.” Another one added, “Definitely not funny, remember where he was at before wilder.”
This incident came just weeks after The Gypsy King’s defeat by Oleksandr Usyk in the undisputed heavyweight world title fight. Fury, who was previously undefeated, suffered a split decision loss on May 18 in Saudi Arabia and eventually lost his WBC belt. Since then, he has activated a rematch clause, with a bout scheduled for December 21 this year.
Fury is set to have a rematch against Usyk in December
Following his defeat, Fury had expressed plans to relax with family and have a few beers before the rematch. He also said, “We punched each other for 12 rounds, so I’ll go home, eat some food, have a few beers, have some family time, walk the dog, and go to the tip.”
The Ukrainian boxer Usyk and Tyson Fury agreed to a two-fight deal, although there were some doubts as to whether the rematch would actually happen. However, with Alalshikh confirming it, fans now just have to wait a few months to witness another exciting boxing clash between two veterans.
Tyson has been open about struggles with alcoholism
The first clash between the two exceeded pre-fight expectations. The bout proved to be a dramatic one, with Usyk securing an iconic win. Tyson Fury has openly spoken about his struggles with alcohol addiction and mental health throughout his career. After defeating Wladimir Klitschko in 2015, the Brit faced a number of personal challenges, including a two-year break from boxing, during which he gained a lot of weight. He returned to boxing after losing the excess weight and has been open about giving up alcohol for himself and his family since then.
