WWE legend Trish Stratus is considered to be the first major female Superstar of the company. The contribution she has made to women’s wrestling is definitely incomparable. Apart from her professional wrestling skills, Trish was also considered one of the most stunning and hottest divas in WWE. During the time when Stratus used to compete, several other divas in the wrestling business who managed to gather a large audience were given the opportunity to work with the Playboy magazine and earn a huge amount of money.
Trish was offered contract by Playboy
During the Attitude era of WWE, the Playboy persuaded Trish, who was one of the most desirable and sought-after divas of the time. Recently, in an interview with Inside the ropes, revealed that Playboy kept sending her contracts to shoot with them, but she kept declining. She further revealed the reason why she declined the offer. The WWE Hall of Famer stated that this whole sexy thing is not her thing, believe it or not. Trish said it is not necessarily a natural thing for her, as she is very much a Tomboy.
“I look back at some of my interviews, and they were like, What’s your favorite? List your lingerie, and I’d be like, ‘I wear boxer shorts and a tank top. How about that?’ The sexy thing was hard enough for me to pull off but I did that. But to be naked is just like, ‘No, I’m good, thank you,” said Stratus. She also noted that at the end of the day, she is here to be a wrestler.
The former women’s champ appeared at MITB 2024
Trish’s last appearance in WWE was at WWE Money in the Bank 2024. She hosted the PLE and after the success of MITB, the company is set to host Summer Slam, the second biggest and most popular PLE held by WWE every year after WrestleMania. This year’s SummerSlam is the 37th edition and fans are eager to see what matchups WWE has decided for the PLE. SummerSlam 2024 will be held on August 3, Saturday, in Ohio.

A few days ago, a report was released on the potential matchups that WWE could book for SummerSlam. Some of those matchups were: Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley for the Women’s World title, Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa for the Undisputed WWE title and CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre (singles match).
