Bubba Ray Dudly recently talked about his experience at WrestleMania 40 on Busted Open Radio. He specifically talked about some of the things he saw backstage during the event. Dudley was the guest during the Final Testament match against Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits. He stated that one conversation that took place backstage before the bout caught his attention.
The Game motivated AOP at WrestleMania
Triple H has vested interest in Karrion Kross and Authors of Pain doing well, as he personally brought them back to WWE as part of his creative plans. Both were released when Vince McMahon was in charge of the company, but Triple H has a different vision. Kross struggled in his return and “The Game” needed a plan for AOP, so he grouped them together. The three were added to the WrestleMania card in a Street Fight match at WrestleMania 40.
Dudley detailed the conversation between Triple H and AOP backstage before their match at WrestleMania. Ray revealed that the WWE CEO motivated the duo and told them to steal the show. “I saw him go up to them and try to get into them, and basically say, ‘give me a reason. Go out there. Steal the show. Do something,” said Ray.
The duo is proving to be a dominant team
Authors of Pain and Final Testament have received a bit of a push lately, which suggests that they have impressed Triple H. The duo has been shown to be a dominant team, recently picking up a win over The New Day. Whether they will get a title run or not is yet to be seen.

However, fans have mixed opinions about AOP, as they are not the best performers in the ring. But Triple H definitely sees something in them and thinks they have a lot to offer. His pep talk to the team definitely meant a lot to them, who have improved since their return.
