They have just released a new trailer for season five in which WWE superstars Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley and Mysterio can be seen. Season five will officially be released on July 24, Wednesday. It seems that some WWE moves have also been included in the game, including Cody’s signature maneuver Cross Rhodes. In the recently released trailer, Ripley can be seen showing off her brutality while performing the Cross Rhodes.
Players can fight opponents in the ring
Apart from the battleground, players can also fight their opponents in the wrestling arena. In the trailer, Rey Mysterio was seen splashing an opponent in the ring. In another snap from the game, “The American Nightmare” could be seen hitting a powerbomb on “The Master of the 619.”
Every WWE character brings a different style and skills to the game. Several popular video game companies have collaborated with WWE to make wrestlers playable characters. WWE legend John Cena debuted as a playable character for the Fortnite game in 2022. Later Becky Lynch and Bianca Belair were also introduced as game characters. Even though someone like Undertaker wasn’t included in the Fortnite game, his character was available when WWE collaborated with the game Rainbow Six Siege.
WWE has been collaborating with several game companies
The new collaboration between Call of Duty and WWE shows that the company is scaling to new heights. It has already been a great year for WWE with the spectacular success of WrestleMania 40. The involvement of WWE veterans like The Rock, John Cena and Undertaker made the event star-studded and memorable.
