Tony Khan about collaborating with WWE
Since Vince McMahon resigned from the post of chairman in WWE, a lot of things have changed. Vince has nothing to do with the business after stepping down as the CEO. Recently, WWE collaborated with TNA and other independent professional wrestling promotions. AEW CEO Tony Khan had a fun conversation on The Rich Eisen Show, where he discussed a number of topics and was also asked about a possible future collaboration with WWE.
Tony Khan stated that he would love to collaborate if that was possible and it would also be great for the wrestling fans. “I think that would be wonderful. But there are a lot of challenging business things in the world of pro wrestling that I think would make that a very challenging thing to do,” said Tony.
WWE has been quite successful this year
Currently, the storyline between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley is one of the most interesting, fun and greatly crafted stories in the WWE women’s division. The rivalry is not about just a title, but both aiming to snatch everything from each other. It has somewhat become personal because Liv Morgan tried to injure Ripley and put her career at stake. Morgan then not only took Rhea’s title away but also tempted Rhea’s kayfabe boyfriend, Dominik Mysterio.
Since Triple H took over as the new CEO of WWE, Liv’s career is on a better graph. Recently, she appeared at The Big Show with Rusic and Rose, where she talked about working under Triple H’s leadership. Liv revealed that working with Triple H has been amazing for her as he is very helpful with all the questions and is always open to listen.
WrestleMania 2024 was a huge success for the company and now they are set to host the second biggest event of the year, SummerSlam, on August 3, 2024, in Ohio. The premium event will surely bring a lot of thrills and surprises for the fans and there are several highly anticipated matchups finalized on the match card.
