UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall has once again called out Jon Jones, but this time with a funny skit. The English fighter posted a hilarious video on his Instagram handle that is making the MMA community laugh. Although Aspinall is known to be cordial, this time he couldn’t resist taking the opportunity.
The skit began with UFC CEO Dana White’s interview clip in which he was praising Jon Jones once again. White never misses a chance to laud “Bones” during interviews, so Aspinall decided to use this clip in a sarcastic way for his fun skit.
Aspinall added a lot of humor in the clip
“When you talk about who is the baddest dude in the world, you put two guys in a room and who walks out? Jon Jones walks out of the room every time,” said White. The clip is added in the video where Aspinall responds to the UFC CEO in a hilarious way. “Exactly Dana, we need to get Jon in a room first. Let’s go and find the room,” says Tom. In the video further, Aspinall tries to find Jones while he screams his name. Then a close-up shot of the heavyweight champion is shown, with his face poking out of the face cradle.
Adding more humor to the skit, Aspinall added interaction with Jones where things got a little awkward. As Tom put his hand on Jones’ shoulder, the champion didn’t like it at all. Then Aspinall included a compilation of “Bones” swimming and trying to chase Jones himself. The whole skit is based on White’s comments that suggest the UFC is not able to get a hold of Jones for a potential heavyweight clash. The end part of the video sees two American black ducks roaming around when Aspinall calls out Jon Jones.
Jones has made up his mind to retire
Jon Jones is currently scheduled to defend his heavyweight championship against Stipe Miocic. But the fans want to see a clash between the undisputed champion and the interim champion in an all heavyweight match. But it seems that “Bones” has made up his mind to retire after the Stipe Miocic match. Jones recently tweeted that he is 37 now and has defeated everyone and his job is to finish strong and make an amazing movie. He wants to join Tom Brady, Floyd Mayweather, and all the other retired stars. Reacting to Jones’ tweet, Aspinall put an Instagram story and wrote, “Wonder if it was that video or my fighting that retired him?”
