After India’s game against the West Indies, he informed the media, “It was towards Sammy, Rohit bhai’s daughter. Sammy and I are close friends. I had promised her that I would throw a party for her if I reached a century or a fifty,” he said. The 20-year-old’s exciting innings against the West Indies featured five fours and one six. In the T20Is against the West Indies, the 20-year-old is India’s highest run scorer. He has 90 runs in 2 games, averaging 45.00. Despite Tilak’s magnificent performance for the Rohit-less team in the second T20I, India lost to the West Indies for the second time in the five-match series, despite his valiant efforts. At Providence Stadium, Nicholas Pooran’s explosive innings helped the West Indies defeat India by two wickets. In Guyana, Pooran’s match-winning innings of 67 allowed the home team to lead India 2-0.
