Haryana Steelers
The Haryana Steelers have been successful in the pro-kabaddi league (PKL), but they have never taken home a championship. Despite having several notable players on the team and an impressive roster each season, the Haryana Steelers have not yet taken home the trophy. The Haryana Steelers finished the previous season with a record of 10 wins, 10 losses, and 2 ties. The team’s position in the points standings was sixth. If Haryana had won only one more game, they would have qualified for the playoffs.
Telugu Titans
The Telugu Titans haven’t played well in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) thus far. The team has struggled and finished at the bottom for the past two seasons. In the eighth and ninth seasons, the Titans managed just one and two victories, respectively. This illustrates the Telugu Titans’ level of dissatisfaction.
UP Yoddhas
Based on their stats, the UP Yoddhas are among the best teams in the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). In the five seasons that they have participated in the league, UP’s team has advanced to the playoffs. Despite making the playoffs every season for four years, this team’s inability to win a championship has been the most frustrating aspect of its history. Owing to their tremendous success in the previous campaign, the UP Yoddhas have only slightly altered their squad for the next campaign. They’ve already signaled their resolve to win the championship this time around by keeping their key players.
Dabang Delhi
Dabang Delhi won the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season eight championship. The team had advanced to the finals before. Although they won 10 of 22 games, the team qualified for the playoffs the previous season, but they were unable to repeat as champions. The team wants to play fantastically and take home the title this time.
Gujarat Giants
In the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL), one of the teams that has demonstrated excellent consistency is the Gujarat Giants. The group has made it to the championship game twice, but they haven’t won it. Additionally, the club did not play well in the previous season. After just nine games under new coach Ram Mehar Singh, the Gujarat Giants were ranked eighth in the rankings. The team only managed to win nine games and lost eleven. Gujarat had won four of their previous five games, but they were unable to make it to the playoffs. The team hopes to raise their game for the tenth season.
Bengal Warriors
Under Maninder Singh’s leadership, the Bengal Warriors captured the Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) season 7 championship for the first time. The squad hopes to win the championship this season in addition to placing in the top six after their disappointing performance in the previous campaign. The Bengal Warriors won the PKL championship in their seventh season. But since then, the group’s performance has declined. The Bengal Warriors had lost four of their previous five games, which prevented them from making the playoffs.
Puneri Paltan
Puneri Paltan is now among the best teams in the professional kabaddi competition. This force never stops trying to outdo itself, push its rivals, and change the world. It has unquenchable energy, honed skills, and iron nerves. Puneri Paltan, who made it to the championship game the previous season, is also progressing very well. In the prior season, Puneri Paltan reached the semifinals after winning 14 of their 22 games.
Tamil Thalaivas
The Tamil Thalaivas were the underdogs in Season 9. The Tamil Thalaivas advanced to the semifinals for the first time in the ninth season of the Pakistan Premier League. In the absence of a key player, the team played brilliantly. The Thalaivas advanced to the playoffs for the first time in team history despite this. For Tamil Thalaivas, the ninth season of the live Pro Kabaddi was without a doubt the best. After a couple of early losses, they recovered swiftly, and to finish off an incredible season, they produced a great performance against all odds.
U Mumba
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) career of U Mumba has been filled with highs and lows. It is noteworthy because they are the only team in the league to have advanced to the championship in each of the first three seasons. But ever since winning the championship in the second season, the team’s play has been inconsistent. After winning it a second time, they haven’t been able to get the trophy back. The group’s output has decreased. U Mumba only won 10 of 22 games in the ninth season, a long cry from their actual performance. It will be interesting to see how U Mumba performs this season because they did not make many roster changes for the tenth season.
Bengaluru Bulls
The sixth season saw the Bengaluru Bulls win the PKL championship. Since then, the team has performed brilliantly in every PKL season, although it has not won any yet. The Bengaluru Bulls made it to the semifinals of the ninth season before losing to the fierce Jaipur Pink Panthers team. Among the few teams in the PKL that consistently do well are the Bulls. Up until the ninth season, Pawan Sehrawat was an essential player in this squad. Nevertheless, the club made it to the semi-finals and showed that they were not reliant on any one player, even after Pawan Sehrawat left the squad the previous season.
Jaipur Pink Panthers
The Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) was won by the Jaipur Pink Panthers the previous year. The Jaipur Pink Panthers won the PKL championship for the second time. The team had previously taken home the trophy in the initial season of 2014, and in the ninth season, following a long break, they did so once more.
Patna Pirates
The Patna Pirates are the most successful team in Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) history, having won three PKL trophies. However, the team’s performance was not as good as it was the previous season. To put things in perspective, the team’s record from the previous season was 8 wins out of 22 games, with 11 losses. These figures demonstrate Patna’s descent from a top team to a bottom team, with the team’s inexperience and lack of balance playing a significant role in this decline. With multiple roster changes before PKL 10, it will be interesting to see how Patna performs this time around.
