Team India is all set to face the Netherlands in their last league-stage fixture of the ODI World Cup 2023. And ahead of the much-anticipated fixture, team India had a great time in the Diwali bash organized by the BCCI. As Indian players will not be able to celebrate Diwali at home, the BCCI organized a grand Diwali party for the team India & their families in the Bengaluru Hotel.
Star players grazed the occasion with their wives & make the moment memorable for all. Kohli walked to the party with Anushka Sharma, While Rohit Sharma came with his wife Ritika Sajdeh & Samaira. Jadeja walked the aisle along with his wife Rivaba. Shubman Gill, Mohammed Shami, and Ishan Kishan were also seen at the Indian team’s party. Shardul Thakur attended the party with his wife Mitali Parulkar. The duo of Shubman & Shardul wore the same colour Kurtas & Ishan didn’t leave the occasion & pulled their legs too. India’s pace trio of Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah, and Mohammed Siraj clicked the pictures together as well.

Diwali party came as a huge break for the Indian team ahead of their semi-finals on Wednesday. And Team India made the most of it by enjoying the Diwali bash with their respective families. The video of BCCI’s Diwali bash showed head coach Rahul Dravid in great spirits. Overall, the team looks in a very good space which is a good sign for the team heading into knockout stages.
Not to forget, the Indian team will take on New Zealand in the semi-finals which will be a repeat telecast of the World Cup 2019 semi-finals. But here India will try to change history by winning the fixture & marching into the ODI World Cup 2023 finals. On the other hand, New Zealand will try their best to repeat the 2019 semi-finals scenario by winning the fixture. Notably ahead of the semifinals, India is all set to face the Netherlands in their last league stage fixture today at M Chinnaswamy Stadium. The fixture will act as a preparatory ground for India who will aim to march into the semi-finals on a winning note.
