Recently, Smriti Mandhana’s Royal Challengers Bangalore Women created history by defeating the Delhi Capitals women in the summit match to win their first-ever WPL (Women’s Premier League WPL 2024) championship. The men’s team has been vying for the title since 2008, but Mandhana was able to end RCB’s title curse.
Marketers are now paying closer attention to Mandhana and her teammates as a result of her WPL victory. Several brand analysts predict that Mandhana’s market value will soar following the WPL victory.
According to Aviral Jain, Managing Director, Valuation Advisory Services, Kroll, “she currently enjoys a brand value in the range of USD 10-12 million, which is expected to go up by about 30 per cent with a growing brand portfolio and fee by the end of the year,” MSN quoted Jain as saying.
