Atlanta Hawks’ Power Forward De’Andre Hunter might get traded soon. He has earned himself a reputation as a defensive-minded wing who can hit three-pointers. Hunter has spent five seasons with the Hawks. He is averaging 14.9 points, 4.1 rebounds and 1.4 assists in 24 games, while shooting 46.0 percent from the floor. The best thing about him is that Hunter provides great defense through his size and height. De’Andre was the fourth overall pick of the 2019 draft and is currently in his first season of a four-year contract extension worth $90 million. Let’s have a look at suitable teams for him if he gets traded.
Sacramento Kings

The Sacramento Kings have a good small forward in the form of Keegan Murray, but they need to shore up even more at the position to give them flexibility and depth. Harrison Barnes, Kesler Edwards, Trey Lyles and Kevin Huerter are capable of giving the Kings what they need, but they haven’t been consistent, so Hunter can help with that. Sacramento needs a deep postseason run and can’t afford to choke in the playoffs.
Dallas Mavericks

The Mavericks are currently in a good position in the ongoing season and most of the credit goes to their star Luka Doncic. However, nothing has been enough to make up for their lack of two-way players. De’Andre Hunter will help alleviate some of their defensive errors while also contributing to their offense. His size would be a plus point for the wing and shooting would be a great addition.
New York Knicks

The New York Knicks have been searching for a star for the past few seasons, but if they abandon their star search and choose solid players, Hunter would be worthy of consideration. The Knicks got a look at Hunter’s offensive abilities in October, when he scored a season-high 27 points in New York’s 126-120 victory. Hunter’s defensive ability and shot-making are exactly what the Knicks need to strengthen their squad.
Memphis Grizzlies

Memphis Grizzlies are having trouble finding a replacement for Wingman Dillon Brooks. They are looking for another two-way player to help boost their poor-looking season. De’Andre will be a better player than what they are now fielding defensively on the Wing. He will help strengthen their defensive line, add shooting and provide more depth. The trio of Marcus Smart and Jaren Jackson Jr. will be able to defend the best offenses in the league.
