When did Stuart Broad Announce his Retirement?
It all happened during the third day of the fifth Ashes 2023 Test on the grounds of the Oval. After the conclusion of the day’s play, Stuart disclosed his retirement news to Sky Sports. He also revealed that he took the decision on the previous day evening after discussing it with Stokes & Anderson. While speaking to Sky Sports about his retirement decision Broad said,
“Tomorrow or Monday will mark the end of my cricketing journey, a journey that has been truly remarkable and a tremendous honor to represent Nottinghamshire and England on numerous occasions. As I reflect on this decision, I realize that nothing holds a candle to the significance of England versus Australia in my heart. The Ashes cricket has always held a unique and cherished place within me, and I have always envisioned my farewell innings and bowling to take place in this prestigious series.”

Stuart Broad who has featured in all the five Ashes Test series made a remarkable contribution by scalping 20 wickets in five matches.
