Yuzvendra Chahal, recently, took a dig at Royal Challengers Bangalore’s new-look bowling attack for IPL 2024. The Indian spinner often makes an appearance on streams with fellow gamers.
He loves to play the online game Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI) and during one of those streams, he was asked to review RCB’s new bowling unit for the upcoming Indian Premier League season.
In reply, Chahal said, ‘Moye Moye’. The term has been frequently used in funny videos and memes on social media and it suggests that something is in a bad state.
Ahead of the IPL 2024 auction, RCB had released big names like Harshal Patel, Josh Hazlewood, and Wanindu Hasaranga. Besides, they had also traded in Cameron Green for a huge sum of INR 17.5 crore, which meant that they weren’t left with a lot of money in their purse.
They went on to buy Alzarri Joseph for 11.50 crores and also picked Lockie Ferguson for his base price. Their spin department looks pretty weak as well. The Red Army have the services of Karn Sharma and Mayank Dagar this year.
It is true that RCB doesn’t have a great bowling lineup for the upcoming edition and Chahal believes the same too.

Yuvzendra Chahal became a world-class name in IPL while playing for Royal Challengers Bangalore.
Chahal holds the record for picking the most number of wickets for RCB in IPL. He played 113 matches for RCB and picked 139 wickets at an average of 22.03. However, despite such numbers, the franchise released him after the 2021 season.
Next year, he played for Rajasthan Royals and earned the purple cap as well. In 17 matches, the leg-spinner picked 27 wickets at an average of under 20.
However, overall, things didn’t turn out well for him. He received less number of chances for India and now, he is no longer India’s first-choice spinner.
Chahal, recently, enjoyed a great Vijay Hazare Campaign for Haryana, helping the team lift the trophy. He will, once again, be seen playing for Rajasthan Royals in the upcoming IPL edition.
Last year, he played 14 matches for the team and went on to pick 21 wickets at an average of 20.57. He is currently the highest wicket-taker in the history of the Indian Premier League. In just 145 matches, he has 187 wickets to his name at an average of 21.68.
