India’s young sensation Yashasvi Jaiswal’s dream run in international cricket has helped him break into the top 15 of the latest ICC Test rankings. Jaiswal scored his second double-century in the ongoing Test series against England and it helped him jump 14 spots to take the 15th position in the rankings.
He now has the best rating points of 699. Indian captain Rohit Sharma also played a sensational knock of 133 runs in the third Test helped him climb one spot to 12th place in the ICC Test rankings among batters.
Ben Duckett’s sensational knock of 153 runs in 151 balls helped him take the 13th position with 719 rating points. Kane Williamson is sitting at the top of the pile with 893 rating points, followed by Steve Smith (818) at second spot.
Bumrah Remains No. 1 Test Bowler in ICC Test Rankings
In the ICC rankings for bowlers, Jasprit Bumrah continues to lead the tally. India’s veteran spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin rose one spot to take the second position. He is now only behind Jasprit Bumrah in the rankings.
Kagiso Radaba is third with 834 rating points. Ravindra Jadeja is the third Indian present in the top-ten bowlers list, sitting at number sixth position.
As far as the Test rankings for all-rounders are concerned, Ravindra Jadeja takes a massive lead at the top. He produced a brilliant all-round performance with the bat and ball in the Rajkot Test. Jadeja came to the crease when his side was in trouble at 33 for 3 and stitched a brilliant partnership with skipper Rohit Sharma.

The southpaw went on to play a brilliant knock of 112 runs in 225 deliveries, including 9 fours and two sixes. He, later, picked a five-wicket haul to help India claim a massive 434-run win over England. He is, currently, 139 points ahead of Ashwin, who is sitting second on the list. In the bowlers’ rankings, Jadeja rose three spots to claim the sixth position with 789 rating points
Another Indian all-rounder Axar Patel, currently, finds himself at fourth spot in the ICC rankings for all-rounders with 281 rating points.
