Russian MMA fighter Alexander Pisarev was found dead by his father on October 30, 2022, at his home in Moscow. The fighter was only 33 years old, and an anonymous insider from his team informed the news agency that Alexander died in his sleep and had no chronic health problems. According to a report, the death was caused by food poisoning.

Pisarev’s father mentioned his son’s fractured finger due to recent fights but dismissed those injuries as unimportant to the case. The fighter’s death also sparked speculation about consuming the rotten fruit, which he allegedly shared with his wife, who was hospitalized. Pisarev’s family is still mourning his demise, but they have stated that he was in good health and had no chronic illnesses. It was expected that the exact cause of death would be known after an autopsy , however, there is no report of the results. The Moscow Region Investigative Committee also launched an investigation with forensic experts aimed at understanding this tragic death.
Professional record of the Late Russian fighter
The Late Russian MMA fighter held a professional record of three wins and two losses. Pisarev weighed 135 pounds and used to showcase his prowess at various regional promotions. Alexander made his debut in 2015 against Dilovar Davlatov at ACB 27. Unfortunately, he suffered the loss in his first professional fight by unanimous decision. His final fight was in 2020 against Maxim Usoyan at RCC: Road to the PFL, where he suffered an armbar submission loss in the opening round.
Notable fights of Pisarev’s career
One of the noteworthy matches in Pisarev’s career was against Xin Sheng Lui in the Fight Nights Global Summer Cup 2018. In his total of five professional MMA fights, Pisarev earned a TKO victory against Xin Sheng Lui and one submission victory via rear-naked choke against Miki Dzeitov. He won the Russian Cagefighting Championship, RCC Intro 2, by a single decision in his match against Temirkhan Akhtemirov.
