Finally, PSL 2024 has ended with Islamabad United emerging as the winner of the league by defeating Multan Sultans by 2 wickets. With this stunning win, Islamabad United won their third title. Imad Wasim starred for Islamabad scalping five wickets & returning with figures of 19 run-knock to help Islamabad United chase a target of 160 runs. With this victory, the winner’s trophy is now under the kitty of Islamabad United.
The Champions of the PSL got 14 crore PKR while the runners-up up Multan Sultans received 5.6 crores. In Indian rupees, Islamabad United has earned around Rs 4.15 crore while Sultans have got Rs 1.6 crore.

The prize money of PSL winners are pennies when compared to the cash prizes earned by the winners & runners-up of the IPL.
