Mumbai City FC’s AFC Champions League match against Neymar’s Al Hilal has been moved due to safety issues and high demand for tickets. The game will now take place in the DY Patil Sports Stadium instead of Pune’s Balewadi Sports Complex. The venue had earlier been moved from Mumbai City FC’s actual home at Andheri Sports Complex to Balewadi Sports Complex in Pune.
According to Mumbai City, Indian football fans can pre-register for tickets starting on Friday, September 29, at 11 AM IST, and then buy those tickets using the BookMyShow app. Mumbai City FC decided to change the location of its home matches after learning that the Mumbai Football Arena was ineligible to host the AFC Champions League. The new location is the Shree Shiv Chhatrapati Sports Complex in Balewadi, Pune.

But this would provide difficulties for Mumbai fans who must travel to Pune to support their team and watch football’s greatest players in action. The decision was made to transfer their matchup with Al-Hilal to the nearby DY Patil Stadium because of its much larger seating capacity.
The group stage of the Asian Champions League began on September 18. The game is scheduled to take place on November 6. With four championships, Al Hilal is the most successful club in AFC Champions League history. Mumbai City, FC Nassaji Mazandaran of Iran, and Navbahor of Uzbekistan are their teammates in Group D.
Mumbai City, which is based in Abu Dhabi and is owned by the City Football Group, also owns Manchester City. In the Asian Champions League last year, they enjoyed the best season of any Indian team. They earned seven points from their six group games, which helped them finish second. They defeated the Iraqi Air Force club three times and drew once with UAE team Al Jazira.
