SRH vs MI: Heinrich Klaasen’s 4-yr daughter cheers for him

The SRH vs MI fixture held in Hyderabad on Wednesday will be scripted in the history of cricket in golden words. The Match 8 between SRH & MI was a record-breaking fixture, witnessing the highest team total, most sixes, and a rain of more records were also broken. However, in the middle of the cricketing extravaganza, a heart-melting moment stole the limelight when the cameras captured Klaasen’s 4-year-old daughter, Laya cheering for his father from the stands.

When SRH’s batters led the carnage with the willow it was Klaasen who was leading the Orange Army with a glemaing 80* off just 34 balls, including four boundaries and seven towering sixes. And looking at the father’s phenomenal performance Klaasen’s 4-year-old daughter was seen waving the SRH flag from the stands & cheering for his father.

“The best seat in the house? Right next to Dad’s biggest fan! ️, HK’s little one was all of us today ,” SRH captioned the viral video.

Sunrisers Hyderabad registered the highest total in IPL History

SRH’s innings were full of drama & fireworks as they made the impossible turn possible when they scored a total of 277 runs with the loss of 3 wickets. They set the benchmark of posting the highest total in IPL history.

Batting first was the best decision the SRH Captain made for the hosts as it turned out to be the winning decision for them. Opting to bat first proved to be a wise decision for the home team as Abhishek Sharma (63) and Travis Head (62) laid a strong foundation for SRH’s innings. The partnership between Klaasen and fellow teammate Aiden Markram (42) further boosted SRH’s position, culminating in an impressive unbeaten stand of 116 runs. Klaasen’s stellar performance not only propelled SRH but also earned him the coveted Orange Cap, surpassing Virat Kohli of Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Despite Mumbai Indians’ commendable efforts during their chase, including Tilak Varma’s spirited knock of 64 runs off 34 balls, they ultimately fell short by 31 runs against SRH’s relentless onslaught.
