SA vs IND 3rd ODI: Indian batter Sanju Samson smashed his maiden ODI ton against South Africa during the first ODI. He smashed 108 runs in 114 balls & welcomed his maiden ODI ton in style. Samson entered the batting along with Rajat Patidar who amassed 22 runs off 16 balls before getting dismissed by Nandre Burger. Sai Sudarshan lost his wicket just after Patidar got dismissed after getting dismissed by LBW by Patidar.
India registered a huge 296 runs total on board

After being sent in to bat first, India got off to a stunning start. Debutant Rajat Patidar opened the batting along with Sai Sudarshan. Patidar innings was short as he was clean bowled by Nandre Burger for just 22 for 16 balls with three fours & a six. India was reduced to 34-1 in 4.4 overs. Sudarshan could not continue with his form as he was trapped LBW by Beuran Hendricks for just 10. India was then reduced to 49/2 in 7.3 overs. India reached the 50-run mark in 7.5 overs. At the end of the first powerplay, India was 59-2 in 10 overs.
The duo of Sanju Samson promoted up the order & Captain KL Rahul took India to the 100-run mark in 18.3 overs. The 52-run stand between Sanju & KL was ended as Wiaan Mulder removed KL for 21 runs off 35 balls with two fours. He was caught behind by Heinrich Klaasen which reduced India to 101-3 in 18.5 overs. Samson was joined by Tilak Verma at the crease when Sanju reached his fourth ODI fifty in 66 balls with four boundaries. In the face of falling wickets, Sanju played a measured knock instead of opting for a more attacking approach.
SA vs IND 3rd ODI: India registered 200 runs in just 39.2 Overs

India reached 200 runs in 39.2 overs while Tilak reached his maiden ODI fifty in 75 balls. But soon he was sent packing by Keshav for 52 off 77 balls. India was 217/4 in 41.2 overs. Samson reached his maiden century in 110 balls, with six fours and two sixes. Williams finally ended Samson’s knock for 108 runs in 114 balls with six fours & three sixes. India was 246/5 in 46.2 overs.
Beuran then managed to stop India’s momentum despite Rinku’s fearless brand of cricket, removing Axar (1) & Sundar (14). India was at 277-7 in 48.5 overs. Rinku started his finishing act by smashing Burger for a four & a six but was caught by Reeza for 38 off 27 balls. India ended their innings at 296/8 in 50 overs, with Arshdeep (7*) and Avesh Khan (1*) unbeaten. Beuran (3/63) and Burger (2/64) were the top bowlers for South Africa. Lizaad, Wiaan, and Maharaj got a wicket each.
Whether South Africa chase the target or Indian bowlers will restrict them from doing so?
