Nia Jax came from behind and attacked Mami on the ramp before taking her down with several leg drops and an Annihilator. This was a clear indication of Nia’s intentions, who looks ready to challenge Ripley for the Women’s World Championship at the Elimination Chamber 2024 premium live event.
Ripley’s Response to Dominik
Mami’s on-screen partner, Dominik Mysterio, was unhappy with how things went down. He reacted to Jax’s attack on WWE Raw by tweeting an angry emoji. Ripley responded to Dirty Dom, taking a shot at him and the rest of Judgement Day, as none of them came forward to help or save her. She posted a clip of Dominik’s backstage meltdown after losing the NXT North American Championship last month, where he was questioning, “Where is Judgement Day?”.
Mami reminded that she feels the same way Dominik felt after the NXT deadline. This could be part of a larger upcoming rift between Ripley and the male members of The Judgement Day. Something big could happen soon on the next episode of WWE RAW.
Mami’s popularity is at rise
Although this was not an official turn, Rhea Ripley is apparently the Babyface in her feud with “The Irresistible Force.” Nia’s attack on WWE RAW made this clear, as did the fact that the Elimination Chamber 2024 Premium live event is scheduled to take place in Rhea’s home country, Australia. However, the rise in popularity of Mami may accelerate the transition.
