Crores of hearts were broken as India lost the ODI World Cup 2023 final to Australia. After this tragic loss PM Narendra Modi did what was unexpected. He visited India’s dressing room in order to motivate the Indian team after this loss. Ravindra Jadeja who is one of the integral parts of team India took to social media to share about PM Modi’s special gesture to motivate the Indian players.
“We had a great tournament but we ended up short yesterday. We are all heartbroken but the support of our people is keeping us going. PM @narendramodi’s visit to the dressing room yesterday was special and very motivating,” Jadeja tweeted along with a picture of PM Modi in the Indian team’s dressing room.
Jay Shah praised Team India after ODI World Cup 2023 Final Loss
Jay Shah also praised the Indian team despite their loss in the IND vs AUS final. He said that the Rohit Sharma-led team has performed excellently throughout the tournament. Shah said that the team has shown a lot of grit & determination to reach this stage & one bad day on the field doesn’t determine their caliber. He also said that the country is proud of its achievements.
Celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan & former India Captain, and winner of the 1983 World Cup Kapil Dev also extended their support to team India saying that they shouldn’t lose hope. The Indian fans have also largely reacted positively to the loss in the final, saying that we had one bad day. Team India will now begin their preparation for T20 World Cup 2024. A team full of youngsters will play in the five-match T20I series against Australia beginning on November 23 in Visakhapatnam.
Team India’s performance in the ODI World Cup 2023 was extremely dominating. But their unbeaten run in the league phase ended it a poor note when India lost the ODI World Cup 2023 Final against Australia. India couldn’t deliver with the willow with opponents wrapping their innings at just 240 runs. In reply, Australia chased the target within 43 overs, thanks to Travis Head (137) & Labuschagne (53) who stitched a rewarding stand to guide Australia to their sixth title win.
